Apartment Review for The Pillar At Scottsdale - Scottsdale, AZ

Most places wait until you have been a tenant for a few months before they start ignoring you. Well, at the Pillar they start ignoring you as soon as they cash your application fee and non-refundable deposit. Right after they cashed our checks, they stopped returning our calls, we would have taken advantage of the 30 day satisfaction guaranteed but I was 7 months pregnant and the last thing I wanted was to pack everything again. This place is an overpriced apartment complex with terrible service. The quality of the apartment fixtures is really low, you can't put more than 15 hangers on the closet racks with a few sweaters on top without having them falling; we used the bath tub in the master bedroom and found a pool of water on our dining room, fortunately my husband had forgotten something downstairs and saw it before it wreck our dining table and computer. We've been waiting about 3 weeks for the pest control people to come and spray our apartment. If you are interested in a gated community you should skip this community, in the past two months I've seen the gates working maybe 5 times total. The pool is very small for the number of apartments, if you want to use it in the weekend you have to get there really early to find a chair available. Have I mentioned that all this happened in two months?!?! If you are looking for a nice place to live don't even think about moving to this complex.
