Apartment Review for Tatum Place - Scottsdale, AZ

I have lived at Tatum Place for many years. The staff do not care about the residents or their maintenance requests. God forbid you have a problem in your apartment link a slab leak, plumbing leak or something not working. The likely hood that you would have the repair done correctly and your apartment put back to the state it was originally is zero. The community is small but with 2 managers and 2 maintenance staff nothing gets done in a timely manner. You have wait weeks for your maintenance requests to be completed and have to cross your fingers they actually complete the work. The parking lot is trashed and needs to be leveled so the parking spaces don't flood when it rains. The oleanders surrounding the apartments are not maintained and so over grown that if they ever caught fire all of the cars would go right up with them. The community rules only apply to select residents. The rest of the residents are allowed to have loud music or parties. They are allowed to bring dogs in the pool area. Residents do not pick up after their pets and the ferrell cat problem is out of control and the management allows residents to feed them which is adding to the problem. The buildings have rusted metal falling off of them if you walk around the property. They allow convicted felons and sex offenders to live on property along with drug dealers. The property has really gone down hill and I wouldn't ask an enemy to reside here. Do yourself a favor and find a safe place for you and your family where you don't have to live with items that aren't repaired properly and an apartment that hasn't been updated since 1970. Keep in mind that existing residents are paying about 90 to 100 more for apartments than new residents so the manager Stephanie shows no loyalty to residents who stay for years.
