Apartment Review for Anacosta Apartments - Scottsdale, AZ

While living in this apartment, I kept my apartment immaculate and had cockroaches continuously, which they were never able to get rid of. When my porch blinds were crooked by an inch, I would get a nasty letter telling me I was in violation. When I had to go month to month after my year lease was up, they raised my rent three different times. I had a friend that lived in the complex a year earlier and she warned me that they charged her countless fees for move out, so I cleaned meticulously, had three witnesses, and took digital pictures. They lied and said it wasn't cleaned, and charged me a ridiculous cleaning fee. I am paying the fee even though my lawyers have advised me that I have all the evidence I need for a strong case. They do not maintain the apartments at all. Within my timeframe there, my dishwasher, dryer, and washer all broke. The washer flooded my apartment, which thankfully I was home, so the damage was not extreme. If I had started laundry and left for work, like I usually did, my furniture and all of its contents wouldve been ruined. The management is unprofessional, confrontational, and is only out to screw its residents as many times and in as many ways as it can. It was a nightmare living at Anacosta and I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy.
